I could manage almost quite successfully a Diwali bash at home two days back. So the New Years menu has to be completely different and varied. Amongst all the starters that one can think of, I believe cocktail sausages can never fail you. I mean, just think about the numerous options you are spoilt with. For me this quick and easy yet oh so delicious Honey Glazed Cocktail Sausages does wonders every time.
- Sausages, 250 gms (I have used frozen ones)
- Honey, 50 ml
- Sesame Oil, 2 tbsp.
- Hoisin Sauce, 2 tbsp.
- Dark Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp.
- In a bowl, mix honey, sesame oil, dark soy sauce and hoisin sauce together. Toss the sausages into the bowl and nicely coat them with the mixture using a spatula.
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Place an aluminium foil on a roasting tray and lay the sausages placing them slightly apart. Roast for about 15 to 20 minutes. Turn them once in between. Serve with drinks of your choice or have them just like that.
